Week zero: this site.

Every journey needs a starting line. This is mine.

This week I built the site you're reading — or more honestly, I directed it into existence. I described what I wanted: minimal, quiet, nothing salesy. An AI agent designed it, wrote it, and put it live. I reviewed, pushed back, approved. The whole loop, from an empty repository to a working site, took an afternoon.

That loop is the point. I'm still early in this, and the distance between "I have an idea" and "it's live on the internet" has collapsed to almost nothing. I want to find out how far that goes.

This journal will be the record. Most weeks, a short entry: what got built, what broke, what I learned. The raw notes come from me, an AI helps polish them, and nothing is published before I've read every word. That feels like the honest way to do it — the same way this site was made.

One step at a time. — Robert
